Background: Endoscopic treatment of ureteral strictures provides a minimally invasive approach with shorter hospital stay and less postoperative pain. There are different therapeutic options, the dilatation balloon endoureterotomy holmium yttrium-aluminum-garnet (Ho:YAG) laser most used.
